Kale Chips

Kale is a super food that no one should ignore/skip! It's packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory & cancer preventive benefits PLUS it doesn't taste bad. It's loaded with Vitamin K, Vitamin A & Vitamin C!!

Here's how I make them:

  • One bunch of Kale
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt to taste
  • Baking Pans (Larger ones)
  • Parchment Paper
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Wash & dry kale
  3. Remove leaves from the stem (rib) & discard stems
  4. Rip the leaves into large pieces
  5. Line baking sheets/pans with parchment paper
  6. Arrange leaves on the pan without over lapping the leaves
  7. Lightly spray or brush olive oil on the leaves
  8. Lightly sprinkle sea salt to taste
  9. Bake each tray (middle rack)  for 6-8 mins until the leaves shrink, turn deep green & crispy (If the leaves turn brownish then you have over baked the leaves)

Pictures & Tips

{Pick a bunch that has larger leaves without holes}

{Learn from my mistake, don't leave the stems on. The steams take longer to bake and don't make a difference in taste}

{Kale leaves will shrink so don't be afraid to put more leaves on the pans}

{If you wish to skip the salt during baking, you could always add it in the end}
